Report From The Seminar 'Meet The Breed' 09/04/2010.

On Saturday, September 4, the RTDCNA held a
'Meet the Breed "Russian Toy" booth at the Middle Georgia Kennel Club, held in Perry, Georgia, USA.

Our booth provided attendants much information about the breed, including breed history (where we provided historical artifacts, vintage and replica art ) mini judge's seminar with "hands on" with live Russian Toys as demo's for the judge's to see and learn how the Russian Toy relates to its standard .Include were the good, the bad, and the ugly ( faults common within the breed today).
There were several Russian Toys , both long coated and smooth,on display throughout the day to meet and greet the public with a wag and a smile.

The club provided refreshments through out the day to busy exhibitors and guests alike. Our club offered a coffee bar and assorted pastries in the morning and a deli tray with a variety of assorted fruits, cheeses ,crackers, and deli meats in the afternoon.And not to mention bottled water and puppy snacks for our Russian Toys and their friends!
Many exhibitors and judges alike said they enjoyed our booth and the information we provided , as it was much needed and appreciated.Many Judges were found remarking that it was refreshing to be able to have hands on this relatively new breed to America and have a sound written standard for the breed to be backed up with knowledgeable authorities within the breed.
